We are excited to announce that Lisa and Tim Dresser have joined Cates Real Estate.
Lisa comes to Cates Real Estate with years of experience. Prior to earning her real estate license in 2013, she spent fifteen years as a non-partisan staff in the State Senate, two years in the English Department at Colby College and four years as the Director at the non-profit PAWS Animal Adoption Center. Lisa's entrepreneur highlights also includes being a co-owner for five years, of a small greenhouse business in Palermo.
Born in Belfast, Maine and having grown up in Liberty, she has deep roots to the Midcoast community. Lisa has a number of hobbies, but her current favorites are kayaking, snow shoeing, metal jewelry smithing and reading. Professionally, Lisa enjoys working with both buyers and sellers, and in particular enjoys the search and negotiation phase with her buyer clients. Tim was born and raised in Cape Elizabeth and moved to the Midcoast in 1980 to begin his teaching career. He has spend thirty-seven years in education, from teaching at the high school level, to teaching college biology, to running one of the largest adult education programs in the State of Maine. Tim has been actively involved in the community with the West Bay Rotary, Midcoast Learning Cooperative, Midcoast Literacy Volunteers, and Midcoast Meals on Wheels. Tim's hobbies include woodworking, playing the piano, camping, hiking, biking and shoe shoeing, and he can be found on the courts enjoying a friendly game of tennis.
