Mike Miller brings a unique and extensive background to his real estate career, which began in 2003. A graduate of Hartwick College (1975) with a B.A. in Philosophy, Mike spent years as a corporate manager and Director of Operations for a multi-unit restaurant corporation in Southern New England. Since coming to Maine in the early 1990’s, he has embraced the beauty and vitality of the Midcoast, and in the meantime has owned three restaurants with his wife, Kate. This business acumen equips him with expert knowledge of meeting financial demands and developing detailed business plans and pro forma statements for real estate transactions.

Since moving to Rockland, Maine, in 1993, Mike has established himself as a dedicated community member. His extensive civic engagement includes serving for ten years on the Board of the Maine Lobster Festival, receiving the Community Service Award from the Penobscot Bay Chamber of Commerce in 2005, and becoming Chairman of the Rockland Coast Guard Committee in 2009. He also served as President of the Maine Theatre Guild and was the founding member and director of Steelin’ Thunder, a community steel drum band that raised funds for music scholarships. He is also remembered as King Neptune, a role he proudly portrayed for 16 years, and served as the Parade Marshal in 2012.

Known for providing clients with the least stress and the most value, Mike leverages new technical skills to market properties effectively across dozens of websites. He is especially adept at shepherding Boomers through the downsizing process and capturing accumulated Real Estate proceeds. His results speak for themselves: he has been a top producer in Knox County, selling over $2 million in recent soft markets, and in 2010, he was voted “Best of the Best” #1 Realtor by The Midcoast Villager. Whether a client is looking for residential or commercial property,  Mike is equipped to deliver results.
